Tired of scanning each item individually when moving larger stock? We get it – it’s time-consuming and can be a hassle. But that’s where our License Plate feature comes in! With License Plate, you can group multiple items together when you receive, then put-away or move them – all with one scan. Yes, just one!

Imagine the time and effort saved. Instead of scanning every single item, just scan the LP barcode you create yourself, and boom – all the items can be moved at once. No more stopping to check or re-scan anything. It’s all about speed, simplicity, and getting things done efficiently in both your inbound process and internal process.

Simplify Your Tracking & Visibility

Keeping track of the location, status, and contents of items in your warehouse is essential to run a successful warehouse. Building your own License Plates makes this process much easier by allowing you to track movements based on the actual item you’re moving, such as a pallet.

With the License Plating concept, you streamline item tracking and improve visibility by focusing on containers rather than individual items. Instead of manually checking or handling each product, you can move an entire LP simply by scanning its unique barcode, ensuring that the correct grouped items are moved without any extra steps.

Need a quick overview?

You can easily look up a bin to verify if the number of LPs matches the physical inventory. This is particularly helpful in large areas like receiving zones or bulk storage spaces without traditional racks. Plus, the LP Content label allows you to quickly verify the contents of a sealed LP, ensuring everything is accounted for at a glance.

Scale Your Warehouse Volume with Your Business

Handling large volumes of goods can be overwhelming, often leading to bottlenecks and delays in your warehouse which can make handling incoming shipments efficiently a real challenge.

That’s where our feature License Plate comes in. LP lets you group items under a single identifier, making it easier to handle large volumes quickly. By simplifying the process, you can move goods from the receiving area to storage locations faster, without the usual complexity that comes with processing large shipments.

With the License Plating concept, your warehouse operations can grow seamlessly alongside your business. Utilizing this system allows you to scale effortlessly while maintaining visibility and tracking, ensuring you can manage even the largest shipments with ease.

Simply scan the LP barcode to move large quantities of goods in a much more efficient way with only one scan.

Use License Plating When It Makes Sense for You

Warehouse employees shouldn’t be restricted by rigid processes that slow them down. With this concept, you choose when and where to use it. In situations where the benefits – improved tracking, visibility, and easier movement of larger quantity goods – make sense, go for it. When it doesn’t, simply register the items and move them to their next destination, whether that’s production or a pick location as usual.

The flexibility of the concept allows you to tailor it to your warehouse needs. You’re not forced to always use License Plate or avoid it completely. Even within a single purchase order, you can choose to receive some items on LPs while managing others without them. This allows employees to work more efficiently by grouping items where it makes sense, either building LPs one by one or in parallel during receiving.
