This new version is now available on Microsoft AppSource and brings with it significant enhancements that empower end users to tailor their Business Central environment – with greater flexibility and full alignment to Microsoft best practices.

🔧 What’s New – Major Release for SD Easy Customise App for D365 Business Central

Version 3.0.0 delivers key updates to how users interact with SD Easy Customise across both Live and Sandbox environments:

✅ Live Environment Deployment

With this release, SD Easy Customise now allows users to deploy their tested extension apps into their Live environment via Extension Management.
Please note: while users still cannot publish directly to Live, they can now download the tested extension app from the Sandbox and upload it into Live – maintaining data integrity and compliance with Microsoft’s deployment standards.

✅ Revised Sandbox Experience

We’ve also updated how the app behaves in Sandbox environments:

Users can now only publish extensions within a Sandbox.
Downloading extensions from Sandbox is no longer supported.

If you’re looking to trial the app, you can install it in your Sandbox environment where all functionality remains fully enabled.

✅ New Licence Install & Setup Wizard

We’ve made it even easier to get started! A brand-new, intuitive Setup Wizard guides users through licence installation and configuration to help you hit the ground running.
